Our crossover rebuild kits are all offered now in three versions which you can select from the pop-up menu:
Copper Edition with Mylar/Polyester capacitors
Silver Edition which uses high quality Erse Polypropylene capacitors
Gold Edition uses the highest quality Sonicaps that we source
Each of these rebuild kit levels will provide excellent improvement over the original stock crossovers with each level gaining further improvement and refinement in technical quality and sound quality of the network parts.

All I can say is don’t hesitate to recap your aging speakers. Speakers sound amazing. I was already loving them thinking any high volume ok
short comings were due to my room. After recapping with the silver kit, sound stage is expanded in depth and everything is better defined. Sounds much better at high volume. Only issue was 110uF cap has to be mounted vertically and leads are too short. A cap with leads coming out of one end(like original) would help. Thanks. I feel like my Forte IIs are brand new.
Thought my speakers sounded great. But was going to refresh the crossover anyway. Well let me tell you, it's night and day difference. Everything is cleaner, more crisp, better soundstage, and way more bass. In general everything just sounds better. Should have done it sooner.
Took an about an hour for each speaker taking my time.
